I'm really enjoying gradient nails these days and so this is another one for today. I decided to go for pink because I don't wear that very often. But now that I have such a variety of colors I'm trying some new stuff. I started with two coats of Essie - Flawless which is a pretty dusky pink. Then I started a gradient with three colors. I painted the colors directly onto the sponge and then dabbed the sponge onto the nails. For the gradient I used Essie - Funny Face, Flawless and Bachelorette Bash. To spice it up a little I added big dots with a dotting tool and Flawless. On top is one coat of Essence - BTGN Top Sealer.

Essie - Sand Tropez & Smokin Hot / Gradient Nails with a Twist
This one is once again inspired by nails that I've seen on Pinterest. Check out the pin here. I love the idea and it is really unique but sadly I don't know the artist. I recreated it with the help of french nail tapes from Essence, two of my new highly adored Essie polishes and a piece of a kitchen sponge. I chose to start with Essie - Sand Tropez which needed two coats to be opaque. Then I added the tapes to my nails and used Sand Tropez plus Essie - Smokin Hot to create the gradient. So this looks a bit sloppy in macro but in my opinion it looks awesome in real. My problem is the gradient but I'm working on it! On top is one coat of BTGN Top Sealer.
By the way, thank you all for the amazing comments on my last post about my Essie prize! I'm very happy to have such lovely readers :) Have a nice weekend!

Minty Gradient Nails
I was looking for something simple but effective this time and then decided to do Gradient Nails. I'm not always successful with these so I thougt it was time to do them properly. I took my time et voilà - it wasn't that hard. But those are only two colors so maybe three will be different. Anyways, I used two coats of China Glaze - Re-Fresh Mint as my base color and then added the gradient with one drop of Re-Fresh Mint and one drop of China Glaze - For Audrey. I love those two colors seperately but I think together they look even better! The gradient is a bit more visible in real which means For Audrey is a bit on the darker/greener side. On top is one coat of Essence - BTGN Top Sealer. I'm trying to use up some old bottles of top and base coats so this is why I'm switching a lot between Good To Go and BTGN.
Have a nice weekend!

Gradient Nails with Catrice - Strawberry Fields Forever and Essie - Velvet Voyeur
Today I'm gonna show you my pink gradient nails from last week.
I used Catrice - Raspberry Fields Forever as a base coat and then Essie - Velvet Voyeur as my second color. For the gradient I used a sponge obviously and dripped a drop of each color on a piece of paper. Then I pressed the sponge into the nail polish and applied it onto the nails.
Gradient Nails are not my favorite ones. The process of creating them is sometimes really annoying for me, I don't really know why. It's messy, I don't achieve the expected results and it always takes me a lot of time. I even prefer water marbling!
