Watercolor/Half Moon Nails feat. Essie - Penny Talk

My recent obsession with Watercolor Nails has given me quite some inspiration. This time I created a Watercolor design with three beautiful autumn colors by Essie: Nice Is Nice, Bahama Mama & Sole Mate. I made a video tutorial for Watercolor Nails a few days ago, you can find that here. Because I felt like there was something missing, I wanted to add little half moons with Essie - Penny Talk, a copper beauty from the Mirror Metallics collection. This time I painted them like I would paint Ruffian Nails, but the other way around: I faced the palm of my hand towards me, placed the brush from the bottle onto the nail and created the half moon by dragging it away from me. This way I have to do a little bit more clean-up, but it's easier to paint an even half moon shape. I don't know if that is the obvious thing to do, but for me it was quite the insight. ;) It still looked incomplete to me, so I used black acrylic paint and a nail art brush to encircle the half moon shape. On top is one coat of Essence BTGN Top Sealer.
