Mint Green Christmas Gift Nails with Pearls

Today I have another review for Born Pretty Store. I chose to review the Baby Pearl Rhinestone Wheel because I love the idea of having pearls on my nails! The wheel is sold for about 4$ and the pearls come in three different sizes. For today's design I used the medium-sized pearls. Have a look at my picture to see them in comparison. I think the medium-sized pearls are my limit for a nail art decoration. I couldn't wear the big ones because they would drive me nuts on my nails! I think the small ones are perfect, but it is as always a matter of taste. When I think of pearls I immediately think of mint, so obviously I chose my two favorite mints from Essie: Mint Candy Apple and Where's My Chauffeur from the Winter 2012 Collection. I started with two coats of Where's My Chauffeur and then added little squares with striping tape and Mint Candy Apple. Then I added a ribbon on each nail/gift with silver acrylic paint. On top of the ribbon I attached a pearl with clear nail polish and then added one coat of BTGN Top Sealer. Because the pearls are cut in halves they apply very neatly onto the nail surface. I guess they will stay on for a few days.
