Nail-Venturous - Floam over Manhattan - Urban Turquoise and Essie - Mesmerized

Got it! This week's mail brought me a nail polish I wanted to have since I first saw it on the blogs. It's called Floam by Nail-Venturous and is sold on Ninja Polish. It's basically always sold out, but if you're lucky enough to read their Facebook status update one minute later and act fast, you can call one bottle your own. I paid 9$ plus 3.50$ for shipping and it arrived pretty fast. Floam is a one of a kind polish. It's full of blue and yellow/green tiny glitters and in my opinion looks best over a base color. I tried it without a base and I've seen swatches, but I really prefer it otherwise.

I used Manhattan - Urban Turquoise, a new green turquoise, green polish. You're looking at two coats without a top coat. It is greener in real and as always I wasn't able to take a matching picture. Application was great and it dried fast, but it stained my nails green. I was able to remove it with soap and a toothbrush though, but I'd recommend a good base coat.

Now on to the fun part!

Ladies, this is Floam! Make sure to check out this picture in full view! Two coats over Urban Turquoise and topped with two coats of BTGN Top Sealer. Drying time was alright and application as well, it needs a little attention in the details though. Surface isn't smooth so it definitely needs a top coat.

Don't you just love this one? I was really curious on how this would look over other colors and tried it over a black, blue and red base. Black and red were nice as well, but I decided to go for blue!

Again, two coats of Floam over Essie - Mesmerized. This is where you see the small application problem: It's kind of difficult to get all the edges of the nail covered with the glitter. But I can live with that, because this is a great one!

If you're as much in love as I am, you might want to like the Ninja Polish Facebook page and check for their refills. It is really worth the wait!
