Although I'm pretty sure you can't get your hands on this polish anymore, I just had to show it on the blog - it's too beautiful! It's p2 - No Matter! from the Winter...who cares?! collection and honestly I think all the polishes from this collection are pretty amazing. Since we don't have p2 in Switzerland I had some trouble getting my hands on all of them, but I managed to get two at least... the last ones on the shelf! :) No matter is a dark blue jelly with white snowy glitter and it builds up to a perfect finish with two coats. On top is one coat of Sally Hansen - Insta-Dri. So much love for this one!

Snowflake Nails - Textured Stamping feat. MoYou London Christmas Collection & KIKO Cosmetics
So while slobbering over the KB Shimmer Christmas collection on Google images a few days ago, I stumbled upon this beautiful Christmas stamping by Marta from ChitChatNails. A bit earlier that week Sarah from Chalkboard Nails did her awesome Rough and Spotted design. I don't think I've ever done a stamping over a textured polish before, but I absolutely love the look and somehow the season seems perfect for that purpose. It seemed like a nice opportunity to finally try the KIKO Cupcake Lacquer that I got last summer. #655 Mint is one of the limited textured polishes from KIKO and what I love about it are those colorful sprinkles mixed into the rough mint formula. I used two coats as my base color for the next step, which is a stamping with the MoYou London Christmas Collection #02. For the blue snowflakes I used KIKO #523 Royal Blue and obviously there is no top coat involved. I also found this textured snowflake stamping by Natalie from Nailz Craze and I love it! Definitely my new favorite way of stamping nail art!

Silver Snowflakes with MoYou London Christmas Collection 02
Another design stamped with the MoYou London Christmas Collection plate #02 before Christmas is over! I used one coat of H&M - Manhunter and then stamped some snowflakes on top with a silver chrome nail polish. On top is one coat of Essie - Matte About You.

Vivid Lacquer VL006: Snowflakes
A simple stamping design to start the Christmas countdown, using the Vivid Lacquer stamping plate VL006. I did this design a few days ago and forgot to write down the colors, sorry about that! It's either Essie - Marshmallow or Essie - Waltz and the white stamping color is Flormar - 400. On top I used one coat of Essence - BTGN High Gloss and one coat of Essie - Matte About You.

Black & White Christmas Sweater Nails
For the day before Christmas Eve I have a simple black and white Christmas Sweater Design. My previous Sweater Nails inspired me for a more chic version without the colors. I used two coats of Essie - Blanc as my base color and then painted the pattern with Essie - Licorice. I don't like painting with nail polish, it's much more difficult than with acrylic paint im my opinion. But since my bottle of Licorice is as good as new, it worked fine with a little bit of effort. On top is one coat of BTGN Top Sealer.
I won't be blogging until Wednesday so I wish you all a Merry Christmas!

Blue & Red Christmas Snowflake Nails
I have some more snowflakes for you! After my Glitter Snowflake Nails from last Friday I decided to do some more because I wasn't too happy with the sheer look. I did two of them, one very simple in red with just an accent nail and the other a bit more complex in light blue with glitter. For the ones in red I used two coats of Essie - Lacquered Up and then added the snowflake on my accent nail with white acrylic paint. On top is one coat of BTGN Top Sealer. The blues one are done with two coats of China Glaze - Re-Fresh Mint and then one coat of H&M - Blue Bliss on top for a nice glitter base. Then again I painted the snowflakes with white acrylic paint and added one coat of BTGN Top Sealer. You can already spot some tip wear on both of my designs, because I took the pictures not until after a day or two.

Glitter Snowflake Nails
I realise that this design doesn't really flatter my nails, because they're far from snow-white. But I loved the snowflakes so much that I just had to upload it, no matter what. I started with two coats of Essie - Beam Up, an optical nail whitener base coat. It didn't really help a lot though, but it's always better than a clear base coat. After that I added one coat of Essie - Marshmallow and on top one coat of China Glaze - Snow Globe. Then I used a nail art brush and white acrylic paint to add some snowflakes onto the glitter. My goal was a snowflake glitter sandwich, so I added one coat of Essie - Adore-A-Ball on top of the snowflakes. (Can you tell I'm going through my new Essie whites?) Because there was not enough glitter yet, I added some more out of my glitter box and then finally one coat of BTGN Top Sealer.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow...
