Color Splash / Algae Veronica

If you don't know Algae Veronica yet, it's time to take a look at her Tumblr! She's a nail artist and does the most amazing designs. I could stare at her pictures for hours because they're so beautiful. Today's design was inspired by her Rainbow Splatter design which you can find here and her newest black & white design. 

I started off with painting my nails alternately in black and white. Then I sponged black on white and white on black. On top I added the colors, I chose a simple red, yellow, green and blue. 

As you can see, the color sponging worked best on the white base.

It took quite some time to dry completely and I'm not as happy as I would be if my design looked like the one from Algae Veronica. Anyway, practice makes perfect and I'm looking forward to the promised tutorial from her!
