As you might have seen on my Instagram, I finally decided to get two new stamping plates from MoYou London. The first one I've tried is the #05 from their Hipster Collection, which has 12 XL plaid stamping patterns to choose from. I'm a big fan of plaid nails, so I obviously had to get these, sooner or later! I also love the quality of the MoYou London plates, their packaging and this time they shipped very fast. I decided to get some of my Essie autumn colors out of my stash and used Sand Tropez as my base color. For the perfect coverage I needed three coats and this is what you see in the first two pictures below. Then I created the first layer of plaid with Smokin' Hot and at this point I took another picture since I really loved that simple look. I wasn't sure about doing more layers at first, but I felt like experimenting a bit and added another one with Angora Cardi. Because its formula is more on the fluid side, it didn't look to good, so I decided to go over it with a nail art brush. And because I still felt like something was missing I added two black lines for each nail with the nail art brush and Licorice. My last coat of Sally Hansen - Insta-Dri smudged a little bit of those black lines, but I still like it a lot. I'm thinking of so many different color combinations for plaid nails right now, their just perfect for autumn!

Comparison: Essie - Chinchilly & Master Plan
I was asked by a reader to compare Essie - Chinchilly and Essie - Master Plan. So for today I have only two quick swatches. Those two might look similar in store lighting or when you compare them in your mind, but if you place them next to each other or even paint them on your nails, you will see a clear difference. They are kind of the same color shade but Chinchilly is definitely darker. I used two coats of each and one coat of BTGN Top Sealer on top.

Autumn Aztec/Tribal Nails
It's time for some Aztec Nails again! Somehow I associate these with Autumn, maybe because of the typical color scheme that is often used for the Aztec pattern.
All of the colors I used are from p2. I started with two alternating base colors: Just Need Style plus Rich & Royal. Then I started painting random lines and zigzag patterns with my other colors: Forever, Night Out and Good Night Kiss.
With a fine golden liner from p2 called Golden Ivy I filled out the missing parts and then added one coat of Essie - Good To Go. Yes I should know better by now, but I smudged my pinky nail, so annoying!
By the way, thank you for the lovely comments on my recent posts, I really appreciate your feedback!

NOTD: Stripes & Curves
I had absolutely no idea what I was gonna paint on my nails this time. So I just covered them with a white base, took two pretty colors out of my stash and started painting.
I chose Essence - True Love and Catrice - Put Lavender On Agenda and in addition I tried my new nail art brush from Essence (Nail Art Designer Set). It's my first long brush and I have to say it makes it easier to paint thin lines. But I wouldn't recommend the one from Essence because it doesn't seem to have the perfect quality in my opinion.
I love the design on my ring finger nail, I will definitely do this as a whole design someday. On my thumb I have the popular cloud design from Nailside which you can find here. I accidentally deleted the pictures of my thumb so you're not gonna see it this time, sorry about that.
Two coats of BTGN Top Sealer this time since the white base coat was showing really quick and I had to repair some nails.

Catrice - Put Lavender On Agenda
As promised one of the new Catrice nail polishes! It's called Put Lavender On Agenda. They changed all the brushes and I heard some people complain about the new ones. I can't really see a big difference though, I had no problem with the new brush.
These are two coats and one coat of BTGN Top Sealer.
I'd say drying time is average, just like the old Catrice colors. This is the only polish I picked up from the new ones, they seem to be very similar to the old colors.
